The Town of Hopkinton, NH (Pop. 5,986), seeks a person to fill the position of Solid Waste Facility Attendant at the Hopkinton/Webster Transfer Station. The successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for the operation of the Transfer Station and for all recycling processing. This is a part-time position (30 hrs/wk) and hours worked include weekend days and some holidays. Overtime may be required.
Successful applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent and shall possess, or begin the process to obtain upon hire, a Solid Waste Operator’s license, Principal Operator designation, in accordance with Env-Sw 1600. Preference will be given to those who reach Step 2 within 1 year’s time by submitting 12.5 hours of continuing professional development hours by their first renewal of the license.
