Interested in Becoming an NH Recycles Vendor?

NH Recycles partners with reputable, high-quality vendors who support strong, sustainable recycling and solid waste management programs across New England. With more than 400 municipal and organizational members, our vendors play an important role in helping communities — especially small and rural towns — manage materials safely, economically, and responsibly.

Who We Are

NH Recycles (formerly the Northeast Resource Recovery Association) is the oldest and largest cooperative-model recycling nonprofit in the United States. As a membership-based 501(c)(3) organization, we work with over 400 communities, schools, and organizations throughout New England.

Our members trust us to connect them with reliable vendors who deliver excellent service, maintain environmental responsibility, and support the long-term strength of local recycling programs.

How We Work

Every community is different. Our goal is to provide members with the best marketing and service options based on their specific needs and infrastructure.

To do this, NH Recycles works with multiple vendors for each commodity or service. We coordinate logistics, billing, and payments so vendors work with one central contact instead of many individual municipalities. This cooperative approach simplifies communication and helps ensure efficiency, fairness, and transparency for everyone involved.

What We Expect from Approved Vendors

Because of the quality and volume of materials our members produce, NH Recycles Approved Vendors are expected to:

  • Offer preferred, tiered, or exclusive pricing for NH Recycles members
  • Provide consistent, reliable service and communication
  • Maintain strong environmental and safety practices
  • Work through NH Recycles when serving our members

Members who contact a vendor directly should not receive preferred pricing unless coordinated through NH Recycles. This helps maintain clarity and consistency across our network.

Benefits of Being an NH Recycles Approved Vendor

Vendors partnering with NH Recycles benefit from working with one experienced, mission-driven organization rather than hundreds of individual accounts. Advantages include:

  • Centralized billing and payment — reducing administrative time and effort
  • Scheduling and logistics coordination handled by NH Recycles
  • Support with issue resolution, including pricing, grading, contamination, or equipment concerns
  • Proactive communication, helping identify and address challenges early
