The Town of Deerfield is seeking a part time transfer station attendant. Attendant performs routine work of a semi-skilled nature at the solid waste and recycling facility. Must be able to work with other attendants and perform the necessary duties without direct supervision. Provides assistance to residents as required. Reports directly to the Transfer Station Coordinator while working under the general supervision of the Town Administrator.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Some experience in Transfer Station and Recycling Center operations. State of New Hampshire Solid Waste Operator Certification or willingness to attend related training to obtain the same. Any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
