Thanks to funding through a USDA Solid Waste Management Grant, NH Recycles is able to offer this metal recycling facility tour to eligible grant communities. The tour is designed to help transfer station operators and municipal staff strengthen solid waste safety practices, better understand scrap metal handling, and bring practical information back to their communities.
Due to space limitations, this tour is limited to USDA grant-eligible communities only (listed below) and is only open to transfer station and recycling center operators and town officials.
Limit ONE person per municipality.
All NH Operators who attend can earn up to 1 - 1.5 hours of NHDES SWOT credit hours.
Travel & Participation Stipends for Municipal Employees
All attendees will receive a $50 travel & participation stipend.
Thanks to grant funding, municipal employees from eligible grant communities may receive a travel & participation stipend for attending this solid waste safety-focused MOM meeting.
- Stipends are available only for in-person events; registration required.
- Stipends are limited to municipal employees (not residents or private sector attendees)
- Stipends are distributed at the event
