How Can We Help?
Municipalities

Running a transfer station means you wear many hats to work with residents, out-of-town visitors, haulers, vendors, and town administration. Whether you are looking to bid out a load, find grant money, check out the state of the recycling markets, or improve your recycling education, we've got your covered!

Residents

We get it, recycling can be confusing, with each town and city doing things a little bit differently! Whether you are looking for answers to your recycling questions, want to learn how to start a recycling habit, or find out what's happening in the NH legislature, we are here to help!

This is
Who We Are

NH Recycles (formerly the Northeast Resource Recovery Association) is the oldest and largest cooperative-model recycling nonprofit in the United States, partnering with communities to make recycling strong through economic and environmentally sound solutions. We offer cooperative marketing, education, and technical assistance to our Members.

Same Organization, New Name
Introducing NH Recycles!

After nearly a year of deliberations, we have officially changed our name to NH Recycles.

Our organization was founded 44 years ago by 4 towns in NH. Today, over 90% of our services go to our NH members, which encompass 90% of NH municipalities. Our new name better reflects our service area and the work we do.

While our name may have changed, our services have not - we continue to welcome and support members from across New England, including Vermont, Massachusetts, Maine, and Connecticut. We've had several names over the past four decades, but our commitment to our members has never wavered.

Thank you for joining us in this next chapter!
